    Choose a Playing Style

    Every poker player should be a master of one or more playing styles. Before you begin researching more advanced playing styles you need to decide whether or not you want to play aggressively or passively. Being aggressive can either earn you a lot of money, or cause you to lose a lot of money, depending upon which decisions you make at specific points in the game.

    Learn to Identify Playing Styles

    Once you have learned how to utilize a specific playing style you’ll then need to learn how to identify other player’s playing styles. By knowing what their next move is you’ll be able to adjust your playing style accordingly.

    Learn How to Bet

    Perhaps the most important aspect of playing poker for money is betting. To be successful in online poker you’ll need to know when to call, check, raise and fold. Make sure you are familiar with the various bets and when it is bets to apply each one.
